Chelsea’s revival: Palmer shines in vital win against Newcastle

Chelsea secured a crucial Premier League victory against Newcastle with goals from Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer, and a late strike from Mykhaylo Mudryk. Despite Alexander Isak’s impressive equalizer just before halftime, Mauricio Pochettino’s team rallied in the second half to claim a 3-1 win.

Nicolas Jackson opened the scoring in the sixth minute, converting a deft flick from Cole Palmer’s shot after a poor clearance by Sven Botman.

Despite a challenging season for Chelsea, Cole Palmer’s standout performances have brought joy to the Stamford Bridge faithful.

Amidst pressure on Mauricio Pochettino due to poor results, Cole Palmer’s consistent excellence has positioned him as a strong contender for a spot in England’s Euro 2024 squad.

England manager Gareth Southgate, observing from the stands, had much to ponder as Palmer showcased his skills with an assist and another memorable goal.
