Togo / President Faure Gnassingbé: A security and social response to stem the terrorist threat in the north of the country

Operation “Koundjouaré”: A Military response to terrorism

 

Among the government’s key initiatives, Operation “Koundjouaré” stands out as a formidable military response to neutralize terrorist groups operating in the northern regions.

 

This operation has bolstered the presence of security forces in the most vulnerable areas, effectively deterring armed group incursions and restoring a sense of security for local residents.

The Social dimension: The emergency Program for the Savanes Region (PURS)
