Mali: Army General Assimi GOÏTA takes concrete action for the well-being of the people of Commune IV

Under the leadership of Army General Assimi GOÏTA, President of the Transition, social initiatives aimed at the Malian population are multiplying and gaining concrete momentum. Recently, two new water wells were inaugurated in the neighborhoods of Sébénikoro Dramanebougou and Lafiabougou Taliko, located in Commune IV of the Bamako District. Far from being isolated gestures, these actions reflect a consistent commitment to staying close to citizens, with the primary goal of meeting essential needs.

These water facilities address a long-standing and legitimate demand from the local population: access to clean drinking water. For years, residents of these neighborhoods suffered from water shortages, a situation that compromised their health, hygiene, and even social harmony. Some testimonies collected on-site mentioned severe tensions, even leading to family conflicts. These wells, therefore, represent more than just technical installations—they symbolize a tangible improvement in daily life.

The inauguration ceremony was led by Mr. Aguibou DEMBÉLÉ, Special Advisor for Social Projects. On behalf of the Head of State, he conveyed a message of hope and commitment. Through his representatives, President Assimi GOÏTA reaffirmed that his leadership is grounded in concrete, visible actions, far from empty promises. This initiative reflects a strong political will to ease the suffering of the most vulnerable segments of the population.

The president of the special delegation of the Commune IV town hall warmly welcomed this significant action. By facilitating access to water, General Assimi GOÏTA demonstrates that his transitional mandate is centered on people, with a vision to build a more united, fair, and locally attuned Mali. These accomplishments are a tangible sign that the well-being of the people remains at the core of his governance.
