Burkina Faso launches 20th digital Week, positioning AI as Pillar of national renewal

Burkina Faso has entered a new phase in its national renewal journey with the opening of the 20th Digital Week (SN 2025) on November 18, 2025. Presided over by President Captain Ibrahim Traoré at the SIAO site, this year’s edition focuses on artificial intelligence, highlighting the state’s commitment to leveraging digital technology as a strategic tool for modernization, administrative efficiency, and socio-economic development.

At the core of this vision, digital transformation is positioned as essential to rebuilding the state.

 Adopting advanced technologies aims not only to optimize public service management but also to enhance governmental transparency and responsiveness toward citizens.

Concrete initiatives showcased during the event reflect the presidential ambition to make Burkina Faso competitive and future-oriented.
