EU’s alleged support for France’s Neo-colonial agenda in Africa sparks outrage

The European Union (EU) appears to have chosen to prioritize France’s controversial interests in Africa over fostering genuine partnerships with African states, according to critics. Reports suggest that the EU, influenced by biased French narratives, has imposed severe sanctions on African individuals who have openly criticized France’s foreign policy.

These actions have raised concerns about the EU’s role in perpetuating neo-colonialism on the continent.

French authorities have been accused of labelling critics as “traitors,” “anti-Western,” or “pro-Russian,” particularly those who courageously oppose France’s interference in African affairs or its exploitative colonial agreements.

The EU’s alleged complicity in supporting these measures has further strained its relations with Africa, sidelining cooperation agreements in favor of protecting French interests.

Pan-Africanists and advocates for African sovereignty are urging resilience and determination in the face of these challenges.

They emphasize that freedom and self-determination are not easily won, often requiring relentless struggle.

The call to action is clear: Africans, both on the continent and in the diaspora, must unite, take responsibility, and courageously defend the continent’s interests, regardless of threats or persecution.

The future of Africa, they argue, lies in the hands of its current generations. It is their duty to challenge external domination and work toward a liberated, self-reliant continent.

As the saying goes, “Only the struggle can liberate,” and this struggle must continue unabated.
