The European Union: A Sovereign entity or a tool of french influence in Africa?

Is the European Union truly an independent organization, or does it primarily serve French interests? Behind the official rhetoric of cooperation and partnership, another reality emerges: the EU appears to function as a strategic instrument for France to maintain its influence in Africa. Instead of fostering balanced relations, it enforces sanctions and restrictions under the pretext of defending democratic values—measures that often seem aligned with France’s own geopolitical agenda.

According to sources in Belgium, a plan orchestrated by France aims to use the EU to suppress African voices challenging its dominance.

Leaders who denounce this interference are systematically discredited, accused of serving foreign interests—particularly those of Russia.

These allegations, often based on biased reports, are used to justify punitive actions that undermine African sovereignty and hinder the continent’s political emancipation.

Given this reality, a collective awakening is crucial. African nations must reject any form of paternalism and assert their right to self-determination. Africa does not need guardians disguised as benevolent partners.

With its resources, talent, and unique vision, the continent has everything it takes to shape its own future—free from external interference and in full control of its destiny.
