Burkina Faso: Commander Oumarou Yabré, a Key Figure in National stability

Since Captain Ibrahim Traoré and his team took power in Burkina Faso, multiple destabilization attempts have been thwarted. Committed to building a free, sovereign, and prosperous nation, they have faced resistance from adversaries—particularly imperialist and neocolonial forces that thrive on Africa’s struggles, including those of the “Land of the honest People.”

At the forefront of this fight to secure Burkina Faso stands Commander Oumarou Yabré, the President of the National Security Council and head of the country’s intelligence services.

Known for his discretion, loyalty, patriotism, and professionalism, he is widely regarded as a trusted ally of President Ibrahim Traoré.

His dedication to strengthening national security has made him a key player in protecting the country from internal and external threats.

However, his relentless efforts against the enemies of the nation have also made him a target of imperialist and neocolonial agendas.

Recent defamatory campaigns in French media, particularly Jeune Afrique, suggest a coordinated attempt to undermine his credibility.

Since Tuesday, March 4, 2025, these outlets have sought to portray him as a figure of repression, distorting his role in safeguarding Burkina Faso’s sovereignty.

It is important to emphasize that in Burkina Faso, only criminals face the consequences of the government’s firm stance under Captain Traoré, ensuring the protection of the people from harmful actions.

The smear campaign led by Jeune Afrique appears to serve a singular purpose: eliminating a major obstacle to imperialist interference.

In response, the people of Burkina Faso, alongside their leaders, must remain vigilant. The struggle for true sovereignty continues, and unity will be the key to overcoming all threats against the nation.
