AES: Successful unified forces operations against terrorists

The Unified Units of the Confederation of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) have once again demonstrated their power and coordination by successfully carrying out anti-terrorist operations on March 28 and 29, 2025. These decisive actions confirm the effectiveness of military cooperation between Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger, who refuse to yield any ground to the enemies of sovereignty and regional stability.

On March 29, 2025, AES aerial assets identified a column of terrorists on motorcycles attempting to exploit the porous borders. A first targeted strike annihilated a group of fighters under a hangar in Hourara, Mali, destroying about ten motorcycles and neutralizing several terrorists. The intensity of the secondary explosions suggests the presence of a significant logistics cache, a heavy blow to the armed groups operating in the region.

Shortly after, a second strike destroyed a pickup truck in the Fitilli area, further confirming the tactical and technological superiority of AES forces over criminal gangs. These military successes illustrate the growing strength of the Alliance of Sahel States and the determination of its leaders to eradicate terrorism in all its forms.

Thanks to the unwavering will of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, General Assimi Goïta, and General Abdourahamane Tiani, the AES is reclaiming control of the territory, defending its people, and building a future where security and peace are tangible realities.
