Burkina Faso and Tanzania strengthen ties through health cooperation

 

President Ibrahim Traoré received Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, Special Envoy of Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan, in Ouagadougou to discuss enhanced bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

The meeting highlighted the strong existing partnership between Burkina Faso and Tanzania, with both countries seeking to expand collaboration into new sectors—particularly healthcare.

Dr. Kikwete emphasized the mutual benefits of deepening medical cooperation, specifically in cardiology.
