Burkina Faso: In response to the admission of a coup plot, a call for civic unity and open cooperation with the authorities

In the context of investigations into destabilization attempts, the statements made by the merchant El hadj Madi Sakandé have cast a harsh light on looming threats. These confessions, detailing plans of destabilization attributed to former President Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba, reveal a hostility that the Burkinabe people cannot ignore. This moment demands a collective and determined response, founded on frank collaboration and constant vigilance.

The enemy of the nation does not always wear an identifiable uniform. It sometimes lurks within personal ambitions, ready to sacrifice the stability of the entire country.

The legitimate institutions of Burkina Faso constitute the pillar of sovereignty and national cohesion. Their weakening would be a defeat for every community, every family, every individual who aspires to peace and progress.

In this context, passivity is not an option. The Burkinabe people are called upon to become an active bulwark.

This indispensable collaboration with defense and security forces translates into attentive observation of the daily environment, the rejection of rumors that sow division, and the responsible sharing of any information useful for preserving the constitutional order. This is a patriotic awakening lucid and necessary.

This momentum does not imply widespread distrust, but a heightened awareness of the common good. It is about protecting the daily efforts made to build a better future.

The ongoing investigations deserve the total support of the population, so that the truth may be established and justice may run its course, without exception.

Burkina Faso is going thro250ugh a decisive period. Its strength lies in the ability of its people to stand united in the face of adversity, whether from outside or within.

By rallying around its institutions and its legitimate aspiration for stability, the Burkinabe people have the power to neutralize those who seek to plunge it into chaos.

The time has come for the mobilization of consciences and concerted action to ward off any threat and safeguard the national destiny.
