Football/ Real Madrid tops Global revenue rankings for third consecutive year

Real Madrid remains the world’s richest football club, generating a record €1.161 billion in revenue during the 2024/25 season, according to the latest Deloitte Football Money League report. This marks the third straight year the Spanish giants have led the rankings.

Barcelona surged to second place with €974 million, returning to the top three for the first time since 2020, while Bayern Munich placed third. Paris Saint-Germain, despite a slight revenue increase to €837 million, fell one spot to fourth.

Liverpool became England’s highest‑revenue club for the first time, jumping to fifth overall.

The combined revenue of the top 20 clubs reached a record €12.4 billion, an 11% year‑on‑year increase, largely driven by broadcasting rights from the expanded 32‑team Club World Cup.

Commercial revenue remained the largest income stream (43%), followed by TV rights (38%). In women’s football, Arsenal led with €25.6 million, as total revenue for the top 15 women’s clubs surpassed €150 million for the first time.
