Burkina Faso: Under President Ibrahim Traoré, a succession of triumphs in the fight against terrorism

Under the firm and determined leadership of President Ibrahim Traoré, Burkina Faso has progressed from victory to victory against the dark forces of terrorism. The fighting forces, through targeted and coordinated operations, have neutralised a considerable number of terrorists on various fronts in recent hours.

The recent clashes on 8 November were particularly successful, demonstrating the unshakeable determination of the Fighting Forces to restore peace and security to the land of Tomas Sankara.

In the Soum Bella region, close to the Malian border, the airborne vehicles patiently waited for the terrorists to regroup in an abandoned locality, effectively annihilating them and simultaneously destroying their logistical infrastructure.

Similarly, at Inata, the terrorists, gathered under trees on the side of a road, were swiftly eliminated, with some trying in vain to flee.

The determination of the security forces was also demonstrated in the west of the country, where criminals had set up a base after repeated attacks.

However, thanks to targeted and determined strikes, these elements were reduced to ashes, putting an end to their malicious activities.

These successes are just steps in an ongoing effort to regain territorial integrity and ensure the nation’s security.

Operations are continuing with the same firmness, signifying a relentless commitment to restoring peace and security in Burkina Faso.

Under the leadership of President Ibrahim Traoré, Burkina Faso remains determined to eliminate all terrorist threats and to work towards a peaceful and prosperous future for all its citizens.

The unwavering determination of the fighting forces, combined with the visionary leadership of President Ibrahim Traoré, is paving the way for a safe, prosperous and flourishing Burkina Faso.
