Burkina Faso transforms revolutionary manifesto into Braille for Inclusive sovereignty

On May 19, 2026, a historic event took place in Ouagadougou: the official handover of Braille-transcribed copies of the Manifesto of the Progressive Popular Revolution to the National Union of Burkinabe Associations for the Blind and Visually Impaired (UN-ABPAM).

The initiative, led by Interface SA in close collaboration with the Presidency of Faso, embodies the vision of Captain Ibrahim Traoré: no citizen should be left behind in the march toward total liberation.

By making this foundational text accessible to the visually impaired, the Revolution affirms its popular and universal character.

At UN-ABPAM’s conference hall, fingers traced the raised dots of this national compass.

The transcription transforms access to revolutionary ideology into an inalienable right, strengthening collective memory and decision-making autonomy.

This inclusive approach aligns with the aspirations of the Sahel States Confederation (AES), rejecting external tutelage.

Burkina Faso invites all citizens to absolute vigilance and unity. The fight continues, and freedom’s light now shines on every citizen.
