What are President Emmanuel Macron and Alassane Ouattara plotting to create an electrical crisis in Burkina Faso?

Disturbing information suggests that Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara may be implicated in a sinister plan orchestrated by his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, aimed at exerting pressure on the Ghanaian President to reduce electricity supply to Burkina Faso.

The apparent motivation behind this devious plot stems from President Macron’s lingering resentment over the loss of influence in Burkina Faso.

He is said to have sought the assistance of Ivorian President Ouattara to inflict a punitive measure on the ongoing transition in Burkina Faso.

However, Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo appears hesitant to participate in this Machiavellian scheme, preferring to uphold the principle of good neighborliness and avoid detrimental economic consequences for Ghana.

Sources claim that President Alassane Ouattara has promised Emmanuel Macron that Côte d’Ivoire will compensate for the losses resulting from this electricity restriction imposed on Burkina Faso.

This raises questions about the rationale of the Ivorian President, who commits significant financial resources at a time when the cost of living for his fellow citizens is already high.

Concerns are growing about Ouattara’s true priorities as Ivorian populations face daily price hikes.

The apparent interference in Burkina Faso’s affairs, targeting the authority of Captain Ibrahim and the Burkinabe people, fuels speculation that President Ouattara’s maneuvers may be driven by subtle demands from Macron.

The consequences of this intrigue could extend well beyond borders, jeopardizing stability and cooperation within the West African region.
