Christopher Nkunku faces yet another setback at Chelsea: Fourth Injury puts him out for three to Four Weeks

Christopher Nkunku’s season is proving to be plagued by setbacks once again. Suffering yet another injury, the French international faces another halt in his campaign at Chelsea.

His initial stint at the club has not unfolded as dreamed by both the player and the team.

Hindered initially by a lengthy injury that delayed his official competition debut with the Blues, the former RB Leipzig player has yet to find his full stride.

This is largely due to recurrent injuries that disrupt his consistency. Having already experienced three spells in the infirmary this season, the French international is once again slowed down and is now undergoing treatment for the fourth time.

On Tuesday, Chelsea announced in their medical update that Christopher Nkunku has entered the injury list to undergo a series of tests following a new injury. «We learned yesterday that Chris Nkunku got injured, but we don’t know when he got injured. He isundergoing a medical assessment. For now, Chris is expected to be absent for three to four weeks. I hope. I hope it’s not more. This is a tough situation for Chris because he was in great shape in the pre-season before injuring his knee. We have to wait and evaluate», explained coach Mauricio Pochettino in a press conference.

So, it’s another setback for the former PSG player as he navigates challenges in adapting to life at Chelsea, hoping for a swift recovery and a return to form after a promising pre-season cut short by injury.
