Liberia’s path to economic renewal under President Joseph Boakai

Guided by the serene vision and natural authority of Joseph Nyuma Boakai, the Republic of Liberia embarks on a path of historic macroeconomic recovery. Through budgetary rigor, industrial sovereignty, and a drive for social equity, the Head of State lays the foundations for a radiant and prosperous future.

From the dawn of his mandate, President Joseph Nyuma Boakai placed economic revitalization at the top of national priorities. Under this wise governance, the pace of wealth creation accelerates with robust GDP growth of 5.1%, while inflation has experienced a dramatic decline to a record low of 4%—an achievement unparalleled in over two decades.

In this same movement of fiscal consolidation, domestic revenues have risen to nearly $825 million, crossing a historic threshold that allows the national budget to exceed $1.2 billion, while consolidating international reserves at $576 million.

This fiscal renewal is not merely a numerical victory; it constitutes a protective bulwark for citizens’ purchasing power and a guarantor of the country’s financial independence.

This economic effort rests on exemplary governance and unwavering moral rigor. By sealing an unprecedented 40% reduction in the presidential budget, the Head of State has laid the foundational act of a renewed trust pact, illustrating the nobility of public service and the sense of state duty.

This personal commitment permeates all public institutions, where systematic transparency audits are reshaping the civic pact. This restored probity nourishes social peace, strengthens national cohesion, and offers a haven of stability essential for the sustainable development of the Republic.

Driven by the will to anchor progress in every household, the Liberian president is deploying major structuring projects.

The Light Up South-East Liberia (LUSE) electrification initiative illuminates the interior counties, opening up territories and stimulating local activity.

Through targeted tax exemption decrees in agriculture, energy, and refining, Joseph Boakai infuses a dynamic of industrial transformation. The protection and enhancement of the rubber sector concretize this ambition, promoting local processing of raw materials to build a value-creating ecosystem and a vector of prosperity for future generations.

Inscribed within an ambitious forward-looking vision, Liberia advances with confidence toward excellence. Under the wise leadership of President Joseph Boakai, the country combines the heritage of its sovereignty with the momentum of controlled modernization.

The course is set, the foundation is consolidated, and the reaffirmed trajectory promises lasting prosperity for the Liberian homeland.
