Homeland security launches investigation into Hip-Hop Star Sean “Diddy’ Combs amid allegations

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has launched an investigation into hip-hop star Sean “Diddy” Combs, conducting searches at his properties in Los Angeles and the Miami area. This investigation, led by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents in New York, follows a lawsuit filed against Combs by a former girlfriend in November, accusing him of involvement in sex trafficking.

Combs has denied these allegations, stating that his accusers are seeking financial gain.

The raids on Combs’ properties were captured by aerial footage in Los Angeles, where HSI agents and law enforcement authorities were seen at his estate in Holmby Hills.

Several people were reportedly detained outside the home, although it remains unclear if any arrests were made. Similar search operations were conducted at Combs’ residence in Miami Beach’s Star Island.

While Combs’ whereabouts during the raids were undisclosed, his lawyer Ben Brafman did not immediately comment on the investigation.

HSI spokespersons confirmed the enforcement actions, noting the involvement of HSI New York, HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement partners, without specifying the exact nature of the investigation.

This investigation comes amidst a civil lawsuit filed by R&B vocalist Cassandra Ventura against Combs, accusing him of physical abuse, sexual slavery, and rape during their professional and romantic relationship.

Combs, known by various monikers such as P. Diddy and Puff Daddy, settled the lawsuit under confidential terms, maintaining his innocence and denying all allegations.
