New Leadership installed at Burkina Faso’s National Fund for Social Solidarity and Resilience
On March 27, 2024, Karim Zina, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Solidarity, Humanitarian Action, National Reconciliation, Gender, and Family, presided over the inauguration of the new members of the board of directors of the National Fund for Social Solidarity and Resilience (FNS-RS).
Leading this board now is Alphonse Tougouma, succeeding Madame Fatoumata Traoré after her two consecutive three-year terms.
Madame Traoré expressed her gratitude to the director-general and the entire staff for their collaboration and dedication, which has contributed significantly to assisting vulnerable individuals. She assured that her team was ready to support the new team in achieving its mission successfully.
The new president, speaking on behalf of all administrators, thanked the authorities for their trust.
Recognizing the importance of their mission, Alphonse Tougouma emphasized the valuable legacy to preserve and promote so that Burkinabe citizens see this fund as a symbol of mutual solidarity.
On behalf of the minister, the Secretary-General congratulated and wished the new team good luck, urging them to give their best to achieve the structure’s objectives.
For the outgoing administrators, Karim Zina extended his congratulations for the accomplished work, which has yielded significant results.
