Liverpool on the hunt for Mohamed Salah’s Successor: A real Madrid Star is a potential target

Liverpool is actively scouting for a top-notch replacement for Mohamed Salah, who might depart this summer. According to reports from Fichajes.net, a star player from Real Madrid has emerged as a key target. Despite Salah’s current contract with Liverpool running until 2025, Al-Ittihad remains interested in the Egyptian winger.

Speculation is rampant regarding Salah’s potential successor at Liverpool. Fichajes.net has revealed that Liverpool is eyeing Rodrygo, currently contracted with Real Madrid.

An offer of €80 million has reportedly been tabled for the young Brazilian talent. However, Real Madrid’s president, Florentino Pérez, has firmly stated that Rodrygo is not available for transfer.

«We will only consider selling him if the player requests it, and since he hasn’t expressed such a desire and is happy here, he won’t be leaving regardless of the offer», mentioned sources close to Real Madrid, as per Defensacentral.

Despite Rodrygo being a primary target, Liverpool is also considering other options such as Donyell Malen, Jarrod Bowen, and Federico Chiesa to strengthen their squad.

This indicates an eventful summer transfer window for Liverpool, with a focus on bolstering their attacking prowess alongside defensive and midfield reinforcements.
