FC Barcelona’s return to Camp Nou: Renovation updates and capacity limitations

FC Barcelona has been playing their home matches at Montjuic Stadium since the start of the 2023-2024 season due to ongoing renovations at Camp Nou. However, the club has now set a date for their much-anticipated return to their iconic home ground.

The entire current season is scheduled to be played away from Camp Nou, as well as the early part of the next season. Originally planned for November 2024, the return to Camp Nou has been slightly postponed.

According to Mundo Deportivo, FC Barcelona will make their comeback to Camp Nou on December 15, 2024.

However, there’s a key condition for this reopening: initially, the renovated stadium will only be able to accommodate 60% of its full capacity.

This means that out of the 105,000 seats available, only 63,000 will be open to supporters. The plan is to gradually increase this capacity to 100%.

Fans of the club now have a clear picture of the situation regarding their return to Camp Nou.
