Olivier Giroud to retire from International Football after Euro 2024

Olivier Giroud, who has been part of the French national team since 2011, will end his international career after Euro 2024.

The top scorer in the history of the French team (57 goals in 131 appearances) announced that he will no longer wear the national jersey to spend more time with his family.

Concurrently, Giroud will leave AC Milan to join Major League Soccer (MLS) and play for Los Angeles FC next season.

The French striker, already a World Cup winner in 2018, hopes to finish on a high note with the national team by winning the Euro.

His departure raises the question: who will replace him at the forefront of the French attack?
