The financing agreement was signed in Lomé late last week.

The agreement was formalized by Kabore Jean Pascal, IFAD Country Director, and Ayéfoumi Olou-Adara, President of the Board of Directors of the Togolese Coordination of Farmers’ Organizations and Agricultural Producers (CTOP).

This official signing represents a crucial step towards the sustainable development of Togo’s agricultural sector.

The partnership between IFAD and CTOP highlights the importance of strong collaborations for rural development.

The support from IFAD is essential for achieving sustainable development goals and improving the livelihoods of Togolese farmers.

The $2.4 million funding from IFAD for the ProsMAT project marks a significant advancement for Togolese agriculture.
