Mali: Army General Assimi GOÏTA acts for the well-being of his country’s vulnerable populations

General Assimi GOÏTA, President of Mali’s Transitional Government, continues to prioritize the well-being of vulnerable populations.

 

During the 29th edition of the Month of Solidarity and the Fight Against Exclusion, he extended significant support to widows, orphans, and vulnerable individuals in Sikasso.

 

His charitable gesture included the distribution of 100 food kits and 100 school supplies kits, underscoring his commitment to assisting the most disadvantaged.

 

The event, attended by both local and military authorities, featured the donation of essential goods such as millet, rice, oil, and pasta, along with school kits for children from Tièba Camp.

 

This initiative, overseen by Aguibou DEMBELE, the President’s Special Advisor, reflects President Assimi GOÏTA’s unwavering dedication to the families of fallen soldiers who served the nation.

 

The contributions were warmly received, with local officials like Sikasso’s Governor, KANTÉ Marie-Claire DEMBÉLÉ, expressing deep gratitude and commending the President’s patriotic spirit.

 

On behalf of the widows and orphans, spokesperson Rokia SIDIBE also thanked the President for his crucial support, emphasizing how vital this aid is for the children’s school preparations.

 

This initiative highlights President Assimi GOÏTA’s strong commitment to fostering national solidarity, fighting against social exclusion, and honoring the sacrifices of Mali’s national heroes.
