Real Madrid/ Florentino Pérez re-elected as President until 2029

Florentino Pérez has officially been re-elected as president of Real Madrid, a decision that comes as no surprise to many. The club confirmed the news on Tuesday, just one day before their Champions League clash against Salzburg. This marks Pérez’s seventh term since taking charge in 2000, extending his leadership until 2029.

The proclamation ceremony took place in the Council Hall of Ciudad Real Madrid, cementing the continuation of his presidency. Under Pérez’s tenure, the club has enjoyed extraordinary success, securing 65 titles across two major disciplines: 37 in football, including multiple Champions League victories, and 28 in basketball, showcasing the breadth of his influence and management.

Pérez’s re-election reflects the unwavering confidence placed in his vision and leadership, which have been instrumental in elevating Real Madrid to unprecedented heights.

As the club aims to maintain its dominance on both domestic and international stages, this new term promises to further solidify Real Madrid’s reputation as one of the most successful and iconic institutions in global sports.
