Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz embraces Morocco National Team

Brahim Diaz’s international future has been resolved as he joined the Morocco national team for the first time this Monday. His first words in the colors of the Atlas Lions have been revealed. After Luis de la Fuente’s refusal to call him up for the Spanish national team, Brahim Diaz chose to represent Morocco.

Despite his impressive performances with Real Madrid, he had to reconsider his plans due to a lack of opportunities to play for the Spanish national team.

This decision was confirmed early last week, officially committing him to Morocco. Brahim is now fully focused on his new national team.

«It’s a great honor to wear the colors of the Morocco national team. I am proud to be included in Coach Walid Regragui’s squad alongside world-class players», said the Real Madrid midfielder upon his arrival at Rabat-Salé airport to join the Moroccan team’s preparation camp for friendly matches against Angola and Mauritania.

«I have felt a lot of affection and genuine emotions», added the 24-year-old player.
