During a recent visit to the Central-Western region by Burkina Faso’s Minister of Agriculture, Commander Ismaël Sombié, industry players expressed their satisfaction with the ongoing activities and achievements of the current campaign.
The Minister’s visit, following an earlier tour of aquaculture sites, included inspections of various agricultural sites.

Under the agro-pastoral and fisheries offensive for 2023-2025, producers have received substantial aid, including agricultural inputs, seeds, and equipment.

The initiative, spearheaded by President Captain Ibrahim Traoré, also includes free land preparation for cultivation.
This year, several hectares have been utilized for growing rice, maize, potatoes, and wheat.
