Football/ Harry Kane weighs in as Thomas Tuchel nears England manager appointment
“I can’t say anything until Tuchel’s appointment is officially confirmed,” said Harry Kane when asked about the potential arrival of his former Bayern Munich coach as England’s new manager.
“We’ll have to wait and see. I know Thomas well from last season, and he’s an incredible coach and person. I’m sure the FA will reach out when there’s more to share.”
While Kane remained cautious in his comments, reports suggest that Thomas Tuchel is set to become England’s next head coach.
The German has reportedly agreed to take over from Gareth Southgate, with Lee Carsley serving as interim manager in the meantime. An official announcement is expected soon.
