Niger: Graduation of 229 EFOFAN officers, a class dedicated to regional sovereignty and security

In Niamey, 229 officers of various nationalities trained at the Officers’ Training School of the Nigerien Armed Forces (EFOFAN) took their oath of service in a solemn and proud ceremony attended by the Minister of National Defense, General Salifou Mody.

These young officers embody the core values of discipline, loyalty, courage, and patriotism. Their commitment extends beyond national borders: they now pledge to defend peace and security in a region facing major geostrategic challenges. The mix of nationalities—from Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Chad, to Benin and Guinea—illustrates a renewed military solidarity built on a shared vision of defense and stability.
