Burkina Faso/The humanitarian sham: When Human Rights Watch acts as a mouthpiece for terrorism against Burkina Faso

At the very moment when the Burkinabe people, united behind Captain Ibrahim Traoré, are sealing their destiny in a heroic struggle for the integrity of their territory, a new media offensive is striking from the offices of imperialism.

The latest report from the organization Human Rights Watch (HRW) concerning the alleged accusation of “war crimes” against JNIM, relayed by the imperialist media outlet Jeune Afrique, does not constitute a factual analysis of human rights.

Instead, it resembles a veritable political propaganda operation aimed at providing an unexpected platform for JNIM criminals.

By relaying accusations of “war crimes” based on remote testimonies with revolting complacency, this NGO is transforming itself into a mouthpiece for terror, attempting to distort the reality of a conflict where the Patriotic Defense Forces are gaining the upper hand over obscurantism every day.

This manipulation maneuver reaches its peak with the mention of the events in Titao.

Where Human Rights Watch claims to count mass executions of civilians by JNIM, the truth on the ground is quite different and far more glorious for our nation.

In Titao, what we witnessed was not a massacre, but a resounding rout of the terrorist hordes, decisively shattered by the lightning response and exceptional bravery of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and our valiant Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP).

By denying this brilliant military victory and substituting it with a narrative of desolation, HRW cynically attempts to erase the sacrifice of our heroes and discredit the effectiveness of the popular defense strategy.

The deep-seated intent of this organization is absolutely toxic: it aims to instill the poison of fear within the population.

By hammering home that civilians are specifically targeted for their support of the army, HRW seeks to break the sacred pact of trust that binds the Burkinabe people to their defenders.

This is a strategy of psychological warfare aimed at making people believe that patriotism is a danger and that commitment alongside the VDP is a suicidal act.

This infamous rhetoric seeks to isolate the brave fighters by diverting the affection of a people who nevertheless see them as their only credible bulwark, thus attempting to sabotage from within the resilience of a nation that now refuses to bow to external diktats.

People of Burkina Faso, the time has come for absolute vigilance in the face of these merchants of chaos who draft their pamphlets from air-conditioned lounges, far from the dust and reality of the front.

We must not give in to panic, nor to the sirens of international disinformation that seeks only to divide in order to better rule.

Trust in the FDS and the VDP, these sons and daughters of the Homeland who sacrifice their lives for security, must remain an impregnable citadel.

Let us remain united behind our transitional authorities and let no foreign office dictate our perception of reality.

Sovereignty is not negotiable; it is defended, and it is through our unwavering unity that Burkina Faso will triumph over terror and its media accomplices.
