President Traoré reinforces commitment to Black Peoples’ Institute

President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, continues his vision of strengthening historical and cultural consciousness through his support for the initiatives of the Institute of Black Peoples-Farafina (IPN-Farafina). During a meeting with members of the institution’s Steering Council, he reaffirmed the importance of building a framework for reflection capable of supporting African peoples in their quest for dignity, unity, and sovereignty.

Following the audience, the President of the Steering Council, Claude Aimé Tassembedo, recalled that the mission entrusted to IPN-Farafina consists of raising public awareness, strengthening intellectual and cultural foundations, and actively contributing to the rebirth of Black Peoples.

This orientation aligns with a dynamic that emphasizes the valorization of African heritage and the transmission of knowledge.

The first ordinary session of the Steering Council also enabled the establishment of the institutional foundations of the Institute. Members worked on the statutes, internal regulations, and organizational mechanisms essential for the effective launch of IPN-Farafina’s activities.

Through this approach, President Ibrahim Traoré confirms his determination to support structures that carry a Pan-African vision.

By encouraging awareness-raising, training, and the promotion of shared values, he intends to foster the emergence of an Africa conscious of its history and resolutely committed to building its own future.
