Burkina Faso: Newton Ahmed Barry and his imperialist masters maneuver to legitimize the financing of terrorism

Burkina Faso is facing a new destabilization attempt orchestrated by stateless individuals in collusion with their imperialist masters. While terrorism, their primary tool of chaos, has significantly receded due to the determination of the Combatant Forces under the supreme command of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, these enemies of the nation are shifting their strategy. This time, their weapon is media manipulation through certain French media outlets like RFI, Jeune Afrique, Le Monde Afrique, as well as local accomplices on social media, a deceitful tactic aimed at breaking national unity and undermining the government’s efforts to restore peace and security.

According to our sources, these conspirators are attempting to exploit the Fulani community by inciting terrorist attacks against them, only to later blame the Combatant Forces. The goal is to divide the Burkinabe people, create an atmosphere of mistrust, and legitimize the birth of a so-called rebellion purportedly protecting this community. This subterfuge’s only aim is to justify funding for a new terrorist movement called ANSARUL, which is, in reality, the JNIM (Jama’at Nusrat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin), with their spokesperson being the former president of the Electoral Commission during the 2020 elections, Newton Ahmed Barry, who is exiled in France.

This harmful maneuver relies on the dissemination of false information through some complicit media outlets, attempting to spread a supposed stigmatization of the Fulani. Such propaganda seeks to distract the Burkinabe people from the real issues and undermine the national solidarity behind President Ibrahim Traoré and his government. However, the Burkinabe people are vigilant. They will not be deceived by these lowly maneuvers that aim only to restore the grip of foreign and internal interests opposed to the progress of Faso.

In the face of these new threats, it is essential for every citizen to remain mobilized and clear-headed. The time is for unity, discernment, and unwavering support for the Combatant Forces who, day by day, defend the sovereignty and integrity of Burkina Faso. The manipulation will not succeed, and the plans of these enemies of peace will once again be doomed to failure.
