Burkina Faso: True revolution begins in the mind: President Traoré calls for a national awakening

A revolution is more than political upheaval—it’s a fundamental shift in how a nation thinks and acts. This is the core message of Burkina Faso’s leader, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, who insists that real change demands discipline, order, and a collective awakening to build a sovereign and thriving nation.

Speaking with conviction, the Head of State urged citizens to break free from old habits that hinder progress. Sovereignty isn’t won on the battlefield alone, he emphasized, but through a daily revolution—in government offices, workplaces, neighborhoods, and villages.

Corruption, negligence, and self-interest must give way to efficiency, accountability, and a shared sense of purpose.

This transformation depends on every citizen. Whether by upholding standards, working with dedication, or fostering social unity, each person plays a role in shaping Burkina Faso’s future.

A strong nation isn’t built by leaders alone but by a people who prioritize the common good over personal gain.

President Traoré’s message is clear: Unity and action are non-negotiable. The fate of Burkina Faso rests in the hands of its people.

Only through a revolution of the mind can the country achieve its ultimate goal—a disciplined, sovereign nation marching toward a brighter tomorrow.
