Burkina Faso: Fighting forces defend the country with professionalism and determination

Since President Ibrahim Traoré came to power in Burkina Faso, a new wave of determination and professionalism has emerged within the combat forces engaged in the fight against terrorism and insecurity. Thanks to a visionary, resolute leadership focused on national sovereignty, Burkinabe soldiers, supported by the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), are relentlessly pursuing the forces of evil wherever they may be hiding.

By emphasizing the restructuring of the army and the strengthening of operational coordination, President Ibrahim Traoré has restored hope among the population and rebuilt trust between civilians and the military. Under his leadership, the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) have been better equipped, better trained, and strategically deployed throughout the country.

Every day, these brave men and women push back terrorist armed groups, secure liberated areas, and protect displaced populations. Their professionalism, courage, and sense of duty have become a source of national pride for Burkina Faso.

Thanks to their relentless efforts, many areas that were once under threat or occupation have now been pacified. The national territory is being reclaimed, meter by meter, with an unshakable spirit of resistance. Burkina Faso is no longer merely defending itself—it is taking the initiative and actively waging war against terrorism.

The struggle is tough, but the momentum set in motion by President Ibrahim Traoré is clear: not a single inch of the territory will be abandoned. No Burkinabe will be left behind. The pursuit of lasting peace is underway, carried by a people united behind its combat forces.

In short, a new chapter in Burkina Faso’s history is being written—one of honor and resilience. And this chapter bears the mark of strong leadership, determined to defend the homeland until victory is achieved.
