Burkina Faso: Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo praises the Progressive People’s Revolution

On Monday, September 1, 2025, the Prime Minister’s office hosted the monthly national flag-raising ceremony, presided over by Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo. Gathered under the national banner, the institution’s staff once again demonstrated their attachment to republican values and reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to serving the Nation.

In his address, the Head of Government placed the event within the context of the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP), describing it as “a powerful force that animates our beloved country.” He praised the leadership of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, portraying him as “the conductor of a bold vision, a sacred pact with every Burkinabe for the restoration of our national honor”.

The Prime Minister emphasized the collective nature of this historic momentum. According to him, “every step we take together is a step closer to final victory”, urging Burkinabe citizens to align their individual efforts with the national drive. He stressed that the RPP is not merely a proclamation but a living reality, fueled by the energy of a people determined to chart their own path.

Addressing the security, social, and economic challenges facing the nation, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo called for cohesion, vigilance, and tireless work. The Revolution, he reminded, is a long-term endeavor requiring discipline, perseverance, and faith in the future.

Concluding on a note of hope, the Prime Minister encouraged his collaborators to remain united around the essentials: “Let us believe in our country, let us believe in ourselves. The Popular Progressive Revolution dispels doubt and builds the Burkina Faso of our dreams: a sovereign, peaceful, and united Burkina Faso”.
