Burkina Faso/Counter-terrorism: No respite for those who persist in their evil deeds

The defense and security forces, along with their auxiliaries (VDP), are resolutely committed and determined not to give any respite to wrongdoers. These criminals who continue to try their luck are meticulously monitored, tracked, and neutralized. Every day is a grave day for terrorists in Burkina Faso.

Thursday, January 4, was no exception. Terrorists planning a major attack in the locality of Nassoumbou in the Djibo Zone in northern Burkina Faso were met by aerial vectors.

According to information from concordant sources, they came from the border separating Mali and Burkina Faso.

Tracked on Burkinabe soil, fleeing individuals headed towards Mali, where they will likely be dealt with by the Malian Armed Forces (FAMa).

No more luck or hope for these criminals as the armies of the three countries of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) are enhancing their material and operational capacities.

Mali received new aerial equipment on Thursday, January 4, and Burkina Faso announced the imminent acquisition of significant military logistics for the fight against terrorism.

The creation of a special brigade is also underway in Burkina Faso, and nothing will hinder the final victory against these criminals.
