Togo: The Public administration promises to remain by Faure Gnassingbé’s side in his development policy

The new year has begun for a few days now, and as is customary, various entities in the country continue to extend their wishes to the President of the Republic, SEM Faure Gnassingbé.

In this vein, the President presided over a New Year’s wishes ceremony on Wednesday, January 10, with representatives from the public administration and members of the government.

The President was accompanied by Prime Minister Victoire Tomegah-Dogbe, the President of the National Assembly Yawa Djigbodi Tségan, and other dignitaries.

Through the voice of the Minister-Secretary General of the Government, Christian Trimua, both entities conveyed their wishes for health, peace, prosperity, and happiness to the Head of State, his family, and his collaborators.

In the name of the government and the public administration, Christian Trimua paid tribute to the defense and security forces for their bravery in ensuring the integrity of the national territory against the terrorist threat.

He, in this regard, congratulated the Head of State, whose resilience has established a climate of peace and stability in Togo.

The Minister-Secretary General of the Government particularly highlighted major reforms carried out in the public administration, including the modernization of the sector, the digitization of administrative procedures, the adoption of the new civil service statute, and the effective implementation of Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

He assured the commitment of government members and public administration officials to preserve the achievements of the President’s development policy, strengthen peace, security, unity, and national cohesion, all while standing by his side to continue the major projects initiated for the happiness of the Togolese people.
