Togo: Consular elections, more time to file your candidacy

Togo has recently witnessed a significant development in its consular electoral process. Under the leadership of the Minister of Commerce, Handicrafts, and Local Consumption, Rose Mivedor-Sambiani, the nomination period for consular elections within the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country has been extended.

This strategic initiative reflects the authorities’ commitment to fostering broader and more inclusive participation in this crucial electoral process.

Stakeholders in the commercial and industrial sectors now have an extended opportunity to influence the composition of the Chamber, thereby reinforcing its representation and diversity.

Through a recent ministerial decree, the registration period on the consular electoral list of the Togo Chamber of Commerce and Industry has now been extended until February 14, 2024.
