FC Barcelona contemplates Ferran Torres Swap in bid to keep João Félix amid financial constraints

FC Barcelona, facing financial constraints, is unable to meet Atlético Madrid’s €70 million asking price for João Félix, currently on loan at the Catalan club. To address this, Barcelona is exploring a potential swap deal involving Ferran Torres. The proposal is for Torres, the Spanish international and a valuable asset for Barcelona, to be loaned to Atlético Madrid.

Barcelona’s management, led by Joan Laporta, sees this as a strategic move that could benefit them financially.

According to reports from the Spanish site e-Notícies, Barcelona believes that the potential loan of Ferran Torres to Atlético would allow him to increase in value, creating an opportunity for Barcelona to secure significant financial gains in the near future.

This alternative solution is being actively considered to avoid losing João Félix, despite his less-than-ideal performance since joining Barcelona on loan from Atlético Madrid during the summer transfer window.

The situation is fluid, and negotiations are ongoing as both clubs seek a favourable resolution to the transfer dilemma.
