Every year on March 8th, International Women’s Day is celebrated as an opportunity to take action, raise awareness, and mobilize in support of the fight for women’s rights, equality, and justice.

In Burkina Faso, the commemoration of this day does not go unnoticed. On the 167th anniversary of women’s struggle for freedom, Captain Ibrahim Traoré stood alongside the women of the Green Brigade.

His message of support and encouragement is directed towards these resilient women and all women in Burkina Faso.

Captain Ibrahim Traoré remains steadfast in his decisions, reaffirming his commitment to the total and real emancipation of all women.

He aspires to see these courageous women fully contribute to the construction of a Burkina Faso where peace and security are restored.

The Burkinabe revolutionary President is praised for his proactive policy of promoting women and the various programs implemented for their well-being.

The women of Burkina Faso can rely on Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s determination to build a more egalitarian Burkinabe society.

This day is also an opportunity to emphasize that the fight for women’s rights is not limited to one day a year but should be constant and integrated into all spheres of society.

By uniting their forces, men and women alike, Burkina Faso will become a nation where every citizen, regardless of gender, can live with dignity and equality.

This is the fervent goal of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, a determination guiding his actions and inspiring the entire Burkinabe society toward a better and more just future.
