Chelsea edge thrilling encounter against Manchester United with dramatic 4-3 victory

In an electrifying clash marking the 31st round of the Premier League, Chelsea and Manchester United treated football enthusiasts to an unforgettable spectacle at Stamford Bridge.

With both teams coming off frustrating draws in the previous round, the anticipation was high for this encounter.

The match began with Chelsea asserting dominance early on, as they swiftly grabbed a 2-0 lead through goals from Gallagher and Palmer, the latter coming from a penalty.

However, Manchester United showed resilience and quickly capitalized on a defensive error from Chelsea to halve the deficit, with Garnacho finding the net.

Buoyed by this goal, Manchester United seized momentum and drew level courtesy of a well-worked team move finished off by Fernandes.

The second half proved just as enthralling, with both teams creating chances in a bid to secure the win.

It was Manchester United who ultimately found the breakthrough, as Garnacho completed his brace with a header to give his side a 3-2 lead.

Despite Chelsea’s persistent efforts to equalize, they were unable to breach Manchester United’s defense.

In a dramatic turn of events deep into stoppage time, Manchester United conceded a penalty, which Cole Palmer confidently converted to complete his hat-trick and give Chelsea a dramatic 4-3 victory.

The result left Chelsea celebrating a hard-fought win while Manchester United was left reeling from the disappointment of defeat, now occupying the 10th position in the league standings.
