The Uncertain Future of Xavi Simons: PSG vs. RB Leipzig

The future of Dutch midfielder Xavi Simons remains up in the air as he continues to be under contract with PSG. Despite interest from RB Leipzig, where he’s impressing in the Bundesliga, a final decision between the two clubs is yet to be made.

Simons, a 21-year-old talent, has become a standout performer for RB Leipzig while on loan from PSG, showcasing his skills with 7 goals and 10 assists in the Bundesliga.

His impact has caught the eye of RB Leipzig’s coach, Marco Rose, who has expressed a strong desire to keep Simons in the team.

«Xavi seems to be enjoying his time here, and we’re positive about having him with us next season», said Rose in an interview with Sky Sports.

On the other hand, PSG’s coach, Luis Enrique, also sees Simons as a valuable asset and is considering including him in the club’s plans for the upcoming season.

«Xavi is a fantastic player who fits well into our vision. He could be a great addition to our squad, but ultimately, it depends on the decisions made by the clubs involved», stated Luis Enrique regarding Simons potentially returning to PSG.

This ongoing situation leaves Simons’ future uncertain as both clubs evaluate their options.
