Lamine Yamal: Breaking records and making history at FC Barcelona

Lamine Yamal Nasraoui Ebana is making football history with his precocious performances. During FC Barcelona’s 3-0 victory against Rayo Vallecano, he set a new milestone by becoming the youngest player to reach 50 appearances for the club at just 16 years, 10 months, and 6 days old.

Born on July 13, 2007, in Espluges de Llobregat, Spain, Yamal joined the professional team at the end of the 2022-2023 season and quickly established himself under the guidance of Xavi Hernandez.

This season, he has played 49 matches, scored 7 goals, and provided 10 assists, becoming a key player for Barça.

In addition to his club records, he is also the youngest scorer in the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de España, and the youngest player to represent the Spanish national team.

His performances suggest a bright future, especially since he is contracted with Barcelona until 2026, paving the way for many more records.
