Burkina Faso / Captain Ibrahim Traoré: A blessing for the Land of the Honest People

Since taking office, Captain Ibrahim Traoré has emerged as a charismatic and determined leader, guiding Burkina Faso through significant challenges and bringing about notable transformations. In less than two years, his government has not only managed to counter terrorist threats but also achieved remarkable economic growth.

Under Captain Traoré’s leadership, Burkina Faso has intensified its fight against terrorism, a scourge that had destabilized the country.

Despite the substantial resources required for this battle, President Traoré has adeptly balanced security and economic priorities, demonstrating strategic vision and exemplary resilience.

The statistics speak for themselves. According to the Ministry of Economy, Burkina Faso achieved a growth rate of 3.6% in 2023, a significant improvement from 1.8% in 2022.

This progress was made despite various external and internal shocks, highlighting the robustness of the economic reforms initiated by Captain Traoré.

Moreover, inflation dropped dramatically from 14.1% in 2022 to just 0.7% by the end of 2023.

This spectacular reduction in inflation has had a direct impact on the purchasing power of Burkinabe citizens, improving their quality of life and reinforcing confidence in Traoré’s leadership.

Looking ahead to 2024, the projections are even more promising, with an anticipated growth rate of 5.5%.

These figures reflect a rapidly expanding economy, supported by sound economic policies and rigorous public finance management.

A Call for National Support

In light of these undeniable successes, it is crucial for the Burkinabe people to express their support for the continuation of this positive momentum.

A massive mobilization is planned in front of the Ouaga 2000 banquet hall on May 25th to demonstrate to the world that Burkina Faso stands united behind its leader.

The request to extend the transition led by Captain Ibrahim Traoré for another 10 years is not only justified but necessary.

This extension would consolidate the gains, continue economic reforms, and ensure long-term security and stability.

President Ibrahim Traoré is undoubtedly a blessing for the Burkinabe people. His ability to turn challenges into opportunities and lead the country toward a prosperous future deserves strong support.

Burkina Faso is on a path to unprecedented growth and stability, and it is our duty to come together to ensure the continuity of this positive trajectory.
