Strengthening Togo-Chad Cooperation: Faure Gnassingbé attends Mahamat Idriss Déby’s inauguration

In the spirit of fostering cooperation between Togo and Chad, President Faure Gnassingbé attended the inauguration ceremony of President Mahamat Idriss Déby in N’Djamena.

The Togolese leader’s presence at the solemn event, held at the Palace of Arts and Culture, underscores the strong bonds of friendship and collaboration between the two nations.

Amidst other heads of state and government officials present at the ceremony, Faure Gnassingbé extended his congratulations and best wishes to President Mahamat Idriss Déby, who was elected to Chad’s highest office on May 6th.

Beyond participating in the Chadian president’s inauguration, Faure Gnassingbé reaffirmed his commitment to the Chadian people and the National Transitional Council.

He emphasized Togo’s readiness to support Chad in ensuring a peaceful and inclusive transition.

It is worth noting that Togo and Chad have maintained cooperative relations for many years, which have been further strengthened recently.

Both Faure Gnassingbé and Mahamat Idriss Déby are visionary leaders dedicated to promoting peace and stability on the African continent.
