Manchester City set to sign Liverpool’s Luis Díaz after Julián Álvarez’s exit

In a swift move following Julián Álvarez’s transfer to Atlético Madrid, Manchester City is closing in on a major signing from Liverpool.

Reports from El Chiringuito suggest that City has reached an agreement with Luis Díaz, with the Colombian forward poised to join the Premier League champions.

Díaz is expected to ink a five-year deal at the Etihad Stadium, with Liverpool receiving €70 million in return.

This departure would see Liverpool parting with a crucial player from their attack.

If this transfer materializes, Pep Guardiola will have a wealth of talent on the left wing next season, with Díaz joining Jack Grealish and Jérémy Doku in the squad—dashing Barcelona’s hopes of securing the winger.
