Barcelona finalizes transfer of young defender Mikayil Faye to Rennes

As the transfer window enters its final phase, Barcelona is accelerating player departures. The latest development involves the completed transfer of a young central defender.

 

As anticipated since the start of the summer transfer window, Mikayil Faye will no longer be part of FC Barcelona next season.

 

The young Senegalese center-back, who joined the Catalan club last season and played for Barça’s reserve team, is set to continue his career in France.

 

According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, Mikayil Faye’s transfer to Rennes has been finalized for a fee of 12 million euros.

 

Barcelona has secured 25% of any future resale and a buyback option valued at 35 million euros.
