Nigeria’s Super Eagles announce squad for AFCON 2025 Qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda

The Nigeria Super Eagles have unveiled their 23-man squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifiers. Under the guidance of newly appointed head coach Bruno Labbadia, the team is set to face Benin on September 7 and Rwanda on September 10 in the first two matches of the qualifying campaign.

Despite not featuring in preseason or Serie A matches for Napoli this season, star striker Victor Osimhen has been included in the squad, signaling Labbadia’s confidence in the forward’s abilities.

The Super Eagles’ roster features a blend of experience and emerging talent, with key players spread across various European leagues.
