Football/ Mercato: Danilo Pereira departs PSG for Al-Ittihad

Danilo Pereira has officially completed his move to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, departing from Paris Saint-Germain after being placed on the club’s transfer list earlier this summer.

The Portuguese midfielder leaves the French capital after three seasons to embark on a new chapter in his career.

PSG confirmed the transfer in a statement: “Danilo Pereira has been transferred to Al-Ittihad. Paris Saint-Germain sincerely thanks Danilo Pereira and wishes him all the best in the next phase of his career.”

Shortly thereafter, Al-Ittihad announced Pereira’s arrival on a two-year contract, with the Saudi club paying a transfer fee of €5 million to PSG.

Danilo Pereira, who joined PSG in 2020, played a key role in the team’s midfield, bringing experience and stability.

His departure is part of PSG’s ongoing squad overhaul as the club continues to offload players deemed surplus to requirements.
