Burkina Faso: Contribution by the Chamber of Crafts to the Patriotic Support Fund
The Burkina Faso Chamber of Trades and Crafts (CMA-BF) has responded to a call from the President, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, by donating a cheque worth 5 million CFA francs, along with food supplies and clothing valued at 10 million CFA francs.
These contributions were handed over to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Humanitarian Action, respectively, as part of the artisans’ efforts to support the patriotic fund and assist internally displaced persons.
In light of the country’s ongoing struggle with terrorist attacks, this contribution aims to provide support to the fighting forces and bring relief to displaced populations.
According to CMA-BF officials, this act of solidarity reflects the artisans’ commitment to helping the most vulnerable and restoring hope to those affected by violence.
The CMA-BF’s generous gesture should serve as an example to other institutions in the country. In times of crisis, it is vital for all sectors to come together to support national efforts.
This initiative is highly praised, and a call is made for other public and private institutions to follow suit and contribute to the patriotic fund.
National unity and solidarity are essential for Burkina Faso to rise and face these challenges.
