Françafrique/ Robert Bourgi’s revelations: what is France up to against Côte d’Ivoire?

The recent revelations by Robert Bourgi, a key figure in the Françafrique network, have stirred significant controversy and raised questions in the media and on social platforms.

The situation in Côte d’Ivoire, in particular, has caught the attention of both “netizens” and political analysts, prompting many to speculate about France’s true intentions behind these disclosures, especially regarding President Alassane Ouattara.

Some believe that if Robert Bourgi was allowed to make such public statements at this time, it could indicate a larger, well-coordinated plot by the French authorities, potentially aimed at undermining the Ivorian people.

Political experts emphasize that France has always acted primarily to protect its interests in Africa, a notion underscored by President Emmanuel Macron’s own words when he declared, “France has no friends, only interests.”

According to various reports, France might be pursuing a plan to destabilize President Ouattara’s administration, with the intention of installing a government more aligned with its goals.

This tactic would not be new for France, which has a history of removing African leaders who do not align with its imperialistic or neo-colonial agenda, especially those who challenge systems put in place by the Élysée.

In Côte d’Ivoire, such maneuvers would allow France to tighten its grip on the country and its resources.

Following its diminished influence in the Sahel region, France may now be seeking to solidify its control over Côte d’Ivoire in a bid to maintain its waning presence in Africa.

This situation calls for increased awareness among Ivorians and Africans alike, who must remain vigilant to prevent yet another French attempt to manipulate African affairs for its own benefit.
